LV Muslim Microschool offers a structured, faith-based classroom environment. Using a WASC-accredited online curriculum with blended learning in technology, workbooks, coaching, and Islamic studies, our program is designed for homeschooling families (or those soon to be) in Las Vegas.
đ Curriculum & Learning Approach
As-Salaamu Alaikum & Welcome!
At LV Muslim Microschool, we know every parent wonders: Is my child truly learning? Is this program enough to prepare them for life?
Alhamdulillah, our answer is yes. With a research-backed model designed for Muslim youth, weâve created a program where real learning meets real Tarbiya, so your child doesnât just keep up, they flourish academically and spiritually.
Our 4-day-a-week program builds on a WASC-accredited online curriculum with blended learning in technology, workbooks, coaching, and Islamic studies. It features a research-backed daily structure that balances academics, faith, and enrichment, through:
- Core Academics â Integrated reading, writing, math, science, and social studies in focused learning blocks that match studentsâ attention spans.
- Faith-Based Enrichment â Qurâan, Islamic Studies, and Tarbiya embedded into the daily schedule.
- Personalized Learning â Recurring benchmarks and Tarbiya Coach-guided progress checks ensure each student is supported at the right level.
- Balanced Flow â Short, high-focus academic sessions in the morning, active breaks, and reflective subjects in the afternoon for stronger retention and smoother energy cycles.
- Smooth Transitions â Support for families moving from public, private, or charter schools into homeschooling.
Our approach ensures that each childâs academic and spiritual development grow side by side in a nurturing environment.
âł Is 4 Days Enough?
Yes and hereâs why. Research shows that learning outcomes are not solely determined by the number of instructional hours, but by the quality, engagement, and relevance of instruction. (Learn more about the science here.)
Our program is intentionally designed to maximize learning in just 4 days a week, providing:
- Focused, small-group instruction that improves retention and student engagement
- Built-in rest and processing time, which research shows is essential for deeper learning and long-term memory
- Flexibility for enrichment, project-based learning, or family time on non-classroom days
Students receive the structure and social interaction of a classroom while maintaining the freedom, faith integration, and personalization that make homeschooling so powerful.
