Tarbiya Coach
As a Tarbiya Coach, you will guide instruction and support students’ learning using our selected curriculum. You help ensure children stay engaged, understand the material, and grow both academically and in character. Responsibilities include:
- Leading lessons and small group activities based on the provided curriculum
- Supporting students individually to reinforce understanding and progress
- Integrating Islamic values and character development into daily learning
- Preparing and organizing classroom materials and activities in advance
- Monitoring and documenting student behavior
- Collaborating with other Tarbiya Coaches & volunteers to ensure smooth classroom operations
- Tracking student progress and communicating observations to families and leadership
Compensation: $12/hr, with opportunities for growth!
Volunteer
Our volunteers are the backbone of the Microschool. By contributing your time and skills, you:
- Assist with classroom activities and hands-on projects
- Support small group learning and individualized attention
- Help prepare materials, set up learning stations, or manage events
- Mentor and encourage students in both academic and character development
Volunteers help us keep our program affordable, vibrant, and effective—their work directly impacts student learning and the overall community.
